While the sensor has an expected life of more than two years in normal use it is recommended that the
a n a l y z er is re-calibrated at least annually, This is so that long-term drift on the sensor and electronics can be
eliminated. Local regulations may re q u i r e more frequent re-calibration and users should check with
a p p r opriate authorities to ensure the comply with re l e v ant guidelines.

The in-line water trap should be checked and emptied on a regular basis. Water vapor will condense in the
p r obe line, which may cause the water trap to fill suddenly if the probe is moved. Care should be taken
at all times.
C a r efully re m o ve the rubber plug from the bottom
of the water-trap housing. Dispose of the condensate in
a suitable drain, care must be taken as it could be acidic.
If condensate spills onto the skin or clothing, clean off
immediately using fresh water, seek medical advice
if problems occur. En s u r e plug is replaced before
p e r forming combustion tests. Note: O2 reading will
be high if the Wa t e r trap Plug is not in place.

This is a ve ry important part of the analyzer and should be changed re g u l a r l y. It pre v ents dust and dirt
p a r ticles from entering the pump and sensors that will cause damage. The filter MUST be changed when
it appears discolored on the inner surf a c e .
Re m ove water-trap assembly from the analyze r
as shown above. Re m o ve the filter and plastic
holder from the housing. Di s c a rd the filter
element but keep the holder to fit to the new
f i l t e r. Clean the inside of the filter housing
with a suitable soft cloth. Fit the holder onto
the new filter element and then insert into the
housing. Refit the housing onto the analyze r.
